Requires a Legend Slides build with effect installation support. Installs the particles pack (1.0.0, 15 KB source) and its dependencies. macOS host capabilities: reanimated, webgpu. Installed decks work offline.

## Use it in a deck

```mdx
---
title: Glow field
---
import { View, Text } from "react-native";
import { createGlowField } from "slides:particles/GlowField";
export const field = createGlowField({particleCount: 1536});
# Glow field
<View style={{ width: 1696, height: 650 }}>
<TypeGPUShader code={field.program} particleCount={field.particleCount} particles width={1696} height={650} />
</View>
```

## Configure

**particleCount**

Choose particle density; keep it paired with the returned program.

**speed / scale**

Adjust shared-clock speed and cloud geometry.

Only imported effects enter the compiled deck. [Installation and versioning →](https://legend.so/slides/effects/installation/)
